Self-adhesive dimming film is directly made of ITO film with adhesive backing to make a film that can be directly attached to the glass. In terms of cost, the self-adhesive film can save the cost of the original glass and all the costs of glass processing, and the price will be relatively lower.

2. Transportation
Custom Smart PDLC Glass is fragile, transportation has certain risks, and it is very heavy. Long-distance transportation must be packed in wooden boxes, and the cost of wooden boxes and freight are relatively high. The smart film can be directly rolled into a drum package, which is small in size, low in freight, and safer and more convenient in transportation.

3. Installation
The installation method of Privacy Tint Glass is basically the same as that of ordinary glass. Except for the wiring that needs the guidance of the manufacturer, other projects can be completed in the same way as ordinary glass installation. However, the film application process of self-adhesive film is more complicated. It requires the glass surface to be clean and smooth, and requires skilled operators. There are many points that need to be paid attention to.

Privacy Smart PDLC Glass is in the form of glass, with high strength and hardness, and low artificial damage rate. The self-adhesive dimming film is relatively more expensive, it appears in the form of a film, so avoid being scratched by hard or sharp objects when using it.

From this point of view, smart glass and PDLC Smart Film have their own advantages and disadvantages. The cost of dimming glass is high, and the transportation is more troublesome, but the advantage is that it is easy to install and has high safety.
